About Mick

Mick Servodio came to writing the long way round. Thirty years in professional kitchens, most of them as a head chef, taught him about pressure, performance, and what people are really like at two in the morning when the front of house has gone home. Ten years behind a camera at other people's weddings taught him the rest. He's spent a career watching strangers at their most staged and their most undone, and Anatomy of a Dark Heart is what came of paying attention.

He lives and writes in Perth, Western Australia. This is his first novel.
